The show began with Samoa Joe coming to the ring saying he wants his belt back. Prince Devitt came out saying that he has nothing to do November 30th at Extreme Nightmare 44. AJ Styles came to the ring saying he like in on it too getting his rematch the same night. Joe and Devitt didn't seem to have a problem with it. AJ says if we are going to do this one more time then someone missing and invited Christopher Daniels out. Daniels came to the ring confused saying he didn't feel like he belong here but Joe and AJ both agreed if they are going to finish what they started this year at WM he needed to be apart of this. Daniels agreed to it and AJ says they need to do something special. AJ called it The Trilogy starting at EN 44 Day 1 with Fatal Four Way. Remaining 3 on Day 2 with Triple Threat Match. Remaining 2 on Day 3 with a Barbed Wire Massacre Match. Other two nights having different stips too Joe/Devitt/Daniels all looked tentative but agreed in the end when Cyrus Bourne came from the crowd said he should be involved. He claimed Daniels was unworthy and Shane McMahon came from the back making Bourne/Daniels for Smackdown with going to the trilogy matches.

It was announced that Extreme Nightmare 44: The Trilogy all three nights will feature best of with matches between Broken Empire, TWF Army, Re: Evolution, Outsiders Club, Warriors Of Honor. The faction with least amount of wins after Night 3 will be forced to split up.

8. Mark Night and Brian Thunder beat All Night Express
Announced for Survivor Series 2017 Doomsday Inc v.s. Broken Empire in a Survivor Series Hell In A Cell War Games Match. Broken Empire has announced their first member of their team being Brock Lesnar.
9. Moose beat Tyler Black to win the ECW World Hardcore Title.
10. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe beat Prince Devitt and Shinsuke Nakuamara
